Referee Agreement
Contents
This Agreement applies to every adult who applies for or uses Referee features on PickleHunter.
1. Independent Role
Referees are independent service providers, not employees or agents of PickleHunter. Verification confirms completion of PickleHunter's review process but is not a guarantee of qualification or future appointment.
2. Application and Verification
The Referee must provide accurate identity, experience, rules knowledge, service-area, qualification and supporting-document information. PickleHunter may request clarification, approve, reject, suspend or revoke Referee status. Verification documents are stored privately and may be retained for review, fraud prevention, disputes and legal obligations.
3. Impartiality and Conduct
The Referee must follow the Community Guidelines and applicable event rules, act impartially, disclose conflicts, avoid betting or result manipulation, record decisions and results accurately, protect participant information and behave professionally.
4. Safety and Event Authority
The organizer remains responsible for tournament operations, venue safety and participant management. A Referee should stop or report play where an immediate safety concern exists and must cooperate with legitimate reviews of disputed results or conduct.
5. Content, Data and Confidentiality
The Referee confirms rights to uploaded content and grants PickleHunter a non-exclusive licence to display it for Platform operation. Participant and event information may be used only for officiating, records and lawful obligations.
6. Suspension, Liability and Law
PickleHunter may restrict Referee features for inaccurate information, partiality, misconduct, safety concerns, fraud or breach. The Referee remains responsible for their services, insurance, taxes and legal compliance. Indian law applies, subject to non-excludable rights, with competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Applications and notices may be handled through PickleHunter's official Contact Us page.
