Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PickleHunter, operated by Raalka Technologies Private Limited (“PickleHunter”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them. Where you use organizer or venue features, the applicable partner agreement also applies.

1. About PickleHunter

PickleHunter is a technology platform for the pickleball community. Depending on availability, users may discover courts and clubs, book activities, join Open Play or Group Classes, register for tournaments, manage player profiles and use related community features.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, PickleHunter does not own venues, conduct tournaments, provide coaching, officiate matches or supervise physical sporting activities. These services are provided by independent organizers, venue partners, clubs, coaches, referees and other third parties.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. PickleHunter accounts and community features are not available to anyone under 18.

You must provide accurate information and maintain only one personal player account unless PickleHunter approves otherwise.

3. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

• keeping account and OTP information secure;
• maintaining accurate profile details;
• notifying PickleHunter of suspected unauthorized access; and
• all activity performed through your account, except where prohibited by law.

PickleHunter may restrict or suspend accounts where fraud, misuse, impersonation, duplicate accounts, security risk or policy violations are reasonably suspected.

4. Permanent Player ID

Each registered player may receive a unique Permanent Player ID. It links tournament participation, bookings and other sporting records to the correct player.

A Player ID may not be transferred, sold, duplicated or used by another person. Completed sporting records may continue to reference the Player ID even if profile details later change.

4A. Public Player Name and Private Legal Identity

The name shown to other members is a Player name. A member may use their real name, a shortened version or the genuine name by which other players know them. It is not required to be identical to the member's legal name. Duplicate Player names are permitted because the permanent Player ID identifies the correct account.

Player names must not impersonate another person or PickleHunter personnel, misrepresent an official role, contain contact details, or breach the Community Guidelines. PickleHunter may apply automated format and content checks, limit how often a member changes the Player name, retain an audit history of changes, require correction, or suspend abusive accounts. Changing a Player name does not change the permanent Player ID, verified legal identity or historical sporting records and does not by itself cancel an identity-verification badge.

Where a tournament legitimately requires an in-person identity check, an authorised organiser may receive short-lived, purpose-limited access to a confirmed participant's provider-verified legal name, date of birth and gender close to the tournament dates. These details are not displayed in ordinary participant lists or exports. Every access is recorded. The organiser must not copy, photograph, announce, publish or reuse private identity information.

For a new identity-badge application, the member must first verify the email address on the account and then complete the separate private identity check. Paid or complimentary Plus access is activated independently and does not itself award the badge.

Badges approved before this email-and-private-KYC process was introduced remain recognised without requiring the member to repeat verification, verify an email solely because of the process change, or create another paid provider request. This transition protection is personal to the approved account and does not prevent a badge from being suspended or removed for an inactive account, confirmed fraud, impersonation, an identity transfer or another safety or legal reason.

5. Profiles and Public Records

Profile information may include a name, photograph, city, playing preferences, achievements and participation history.

Users may control profile visibility where the Platform provides such settings. Information reasonably required for tournaments, such as participant names, brackets, schedules, results and future rankings where available, may remain visible.

Mobile numbers, email addresses, full dates of birth, government documents and payment details are not publicly displayed unless the user expressly chooses otherwise or disclosure is legally required.

5A. Invite a Player

An active member may use a personal, random invitation link to introduce another player to PickleHunter. The invitation may identify the member only by the public profile name permitted by their privacy settings. It must not expose the member's private legal name, Player ID, contact details, date of birth, identity-verification information or precise location.

Sending or opening an invitation does not automatically connect the users, create a Play Request, open a chat or register the recipient. Members must send invitations responsibly and must not use them for spam, harassment, impersonation or unlawful outreach. PickleHunter may disable an invitation link when the inviting account is suspended or deleted, or where needed for safety or abuse prevention. A private or unavailable public profile instead leads the visitor to player discovery where appropriate.

6. Roles and Verification

A user may apply for additional roles such as Coach, Referee, Tournament Organizer or Venue Partner.

Verification means PickleHunter completed its stated review process. It is not certification, endorsement, licensing or a guarantee of quality, safety, conduct or future performance.

PickleHunter may approve, reject, suspend or revoke a role where appropriate.

7. Court Bookings, Open Play and Group Classes

Bookings are subject to availability, displayed pricing, venue rules and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Venue Partners are responsible for court availability, venue access, facilities, staffing, safety and delivery of the booked activity.

Open Play and Group Classes may be created only by users or partners authorized by PickleHunter. Session-specific details shown before booking form part of the booking.

8. Tournament Registrations

Every confirmed tournament participant must have a PickleHunter account and Permanent Player ID.

Registrations may be completed:

• online through PickleHunter; or
• as an organizer-added entry where payment is collected directly by the organizer.

Organizer-added entries require player acceptance. They are not processed or protected by PickleHunter’s payment gateway. The organizer is responsible for directly collected payments, refunds and disputes.

For doubles or team categories, all required partners must accept before the team is confirmed. Pending, unpaid, unaccepted, expired, cancelled or otherwise ineligible entries are excluded from the final draw.

Tournament-specific rules, eligibility, schedules, prizes and formats are provided by the organizer on the tournament page.

9. Payments and Fees

Prices and applicable charges are displayed before confirmation wherever reasonably practicable.

Payments processed through PickleHunter may use third-party payment providers and remain subject to their terms, availability and processing timelines.

PickleHunter may charge venue partners or organizers listing fees, commissions, service fees or other commercial charges under their separate agreements. A player-facing processing charge applies only where displayed before payment.

PickleHunter does not provide a stored-value wallet for users or organizers unless a future regulated service is expressly introduced.

Payment-provider onboarding and KYC may be required before an organizer or Venue Partner can receive paid activity proceeds. Verification information and documents requested for that purpose may be sent to the payment provider for its independent review.

Where supported, the payment provider distributes the applicable beneficiary share after deducting the charges recorded for the transaction. Settlement follows the payment provider's applicable settlement cycle and remains subject to verification status, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, holds, banking availability and applicable law. PickleHunter does not promise a manual release date and does not operate a stored-value partner wallet.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the terms displayed for the relevant activity.

A refund is normally initiated to the original payment method. Completion time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

For payments collected directly by an organizer or venue outside PickleHunter, the collecting party is responsible for the refund and related disputes.

10A. Community, Play Requests and Messaging

Play Requests, connections, recommendations, availability indicators, chat, online status, typing indicators and read receipts are community tools. Safety limits, cooldowns and eligibility conditions shown in the product apply. Limits may vary reasonably to prevent spam or abuse.

An accepted Play Request may open pair-level chat. Blocking closes communication between the pair. Unblocking alone does not guarantee that chat will reopen. Archiving only changes the archiving user's view.

Users must not send repeated unwanted requests, harass others, evade blocks, scrape profiles, manipulate recommendations or misuse reports. PickleHunter may apply temporary protective restrictions while credible safety reports are reviewed. Permanent action is based on severity, evidence and account history rather than report count alone.

10B. Competition Category

Profile gender is a profile attribute. Tournament Competition Category is a separate eligibility record and may be locked after use in a restricted tournament category. PickleHunter may retain an eligibility snapshot with an entry or registration to protect tournament integrity. Users must not misrepresent or attempt to bypass eligibility rules.

10C. Free Access and PickleHunter Plus

Free accounts currently include up to three outgoing Play Requests per India calendar month. PickleHunter Plus currently includes up to ten outgoing Play Requests per India calendar day. A send counts when the Play Request is created and is not refunded if the request is accepted, declined, expired or cancelled. Each allowance is one shared pool across recipients.

Receiving and accepting Play Requests and chatting after acceptance are unlimited on both plans. The same member may receive another Play Request from the same sender after 24 hours. Limits remain subject to safety, anti-spam, blocking and eligibility controls. A verification review or badge does not guarantee another person's identity, conduct, response, match or booking.

The Plus plan is a ₹499 recurring monthly subscription collected through Cashfree. It renews automatically at ₹499 each month until the member cancels future renewal. The price, billing frequency and recurring authorization are displayed again before payment. Cancelling renewal does not end the already paid period; benefits remain available until that period expires, subject to these Terms. Future price or benefit changes will be disclosed before they apply to a later renewal where required.

Identity verification included with Plus

For members entering the identity-verification journey after rollout, including members given complimentary Plus, Plus includes an optional identity check delivered through Cashfree Secure ID. Paid or complimentary Plus access begins independently of identity verification. A new badge application requires a verified account email and completion of the separate private identity process; membership activation alone does not grant the identity badge.

The identity badge appears only after the separate provider check succeeds or an authorised PickleHunter reviewer approves the case. It confirms only that the account completed the stated identity process; it is not an endorsement of playing ability, qualifications, conduct or future availability. Identity and professional coach, referee, organizer or venue verification remain separate. The badge may be paused or removed after a material identity-detail change, fraud or impersonation concern, revocation or a re-verification requirement. Cancelling Plus does not by itself remove a completed identity verification.

10D. External Listings, Venue Information and Maps

An event marked as external is provided for discovery only. Registration, payment, cancellation, refunds, event delivery and current information remain with the identified official organizer or destination website. Users should verify material details with that official source before relying on the listing.

Venue details, Place IDs, ratings, photographs, maps or directions may come from venue partners, users, public official sources or providers such as Google Maps and Google Places. Provider attribution and terms apply. PickleHunter does not guarantee that third-party directory information is complete or current. A venue owner, rights holder or affected person may use the Contact page to request a correction, claim review or removal review.

Opening an interactive map or directions may send the destination, approximate location, IP address and device or browser information to the map provider under that provider's terms and privacy policy. PickleHunter's public pages use a user action before loading an interactive map where that design is available.

10E. Invite a Player

A member may use a personal, opaque invitation link to introduce another person to PickleHunter. It is solely a personal introduction tool and creates no financial, subscription or membership benefit. Sending or opening a link does not create a connection, Play Request, chat or tournament entry. Members must not use invitation links for spam, impersonation, deception or unlawful bulk messaging. Links stop resolving when the inviting account is suspended or deleted.

10E. Messages and Platform Review

Play Requests and related conversations are Platform features and remain subject to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

PickleHunter may process and, where reasonably necessary, review relevant account activity or communications to operate and improve the Platform, respond to support requests, address reports or disputes, investigate misuse, enforce Platform rules, and protect users or the Platform. PickleHunter may restrict communication features or warn, block, suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary for these purposes.

11. User Conduct

You must follow the Community Guidelines and applicable venue or tournament rules.

You must not:

• harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse another person;
• impersonate another person or create fraudulent accounts;
• manipulate scores, results, rankings or registrations;
• misuse payment or refund systems;
• upload unlawful, infringing or deceptive content;
• interfere with the Platform’s operation or security; or
• use the Platform for unlawful purposes.

12. Sporting Risk

Pickleball and related activities involve risks including injury, collision, falls, illness, equipment failure and property damage.

You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to participate, following safety instructions and obtaining appropriate medical advice or insurance where necessary.

13. Responsibilities of Third-Party Providers

Tournament Organizers, Venue Partners, Coaches and Referees are independent third parties. They are responsible for their own services, information, operations, staff, decisions, legal compliance and participant safety.

Additional obligations are set out in the Tournament Organizer Agreement and Venue Partner Agreement.

14. Reviews and User Content

Reviews must be based on genuine experiences and must not be abusive, unlawful, defamatory, deceptive or manipulated.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant PickleHunter a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, adapt and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve and promote the Platform.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the content.

15. Intellectual Property

The PickleHunter name, logo, software, interface, databases, graphics and original content are owned by or licensed to PickleHunter.

You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, reproduce or commercially exploit the Platform except as permitted by law or with prior written permission.

16. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on payment gateways, maps, analytics, hosting, communication tools and other third-party services.

PickleHunter is not responsible for failures solely caused by third-party systems, although we will take reasonable steps within our control to support affected users.

AI-assisted features, including Husky, may generate incomplete or inaccurate responses. They do not provide medical, legal, financial or emergency advice. Do not submit payment credentials, identity-document contents or other unnecessary sensitive information to an AI assistant. PickleHunter may use automated tools to support moderation, fraud detection and routing, but material account decisions may be reviewed through the available grievance or appeal channel.

17. Availability and Changes

The Platform may be changed, suspended or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, legal, operational or technical reasons.

Features marked beta, pilot, early access or coming soon may be changed or withdrawn.

18. Suspension and Termination

PickleHunter may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate an account or role where reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms.

Records required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or sporting-integrity purposes may be retained after account closure.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PickleHunter is not liable for losses caused by the independent acts or omissions of users, organizers, venues, coaches, referees or third-party providers.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify PickleHunter and its officers, employees and affiliates against third-party claims resulting from your unlawful use of the Platform, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, Platform features or business practices. The revised version will be published with its effective date.

Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed acceptance.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to rights that cannot be excluded, disputes are subject to the competent courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
